Practice Fees - Gynaecology

Fees can be a little complex and confusing as they differ depending on the type of gynaecological services you require.

To best explain the various costs, please telephone or email us so we can better understand your requirements and provide you with an accurate and details quotation.

Private health Fund-Insured Patients

With all insured patients, we will automatically bill your private health fund after the procedure or surgery. As we have a 'no gap' cover arrangement with nearly all health funds, there would not be any out of pocket fees apart from the excess on your policy for a hospital stay.

Self-Insured Patients

All services are have a Medicare rebate element that cover a portion of the full fee. There would also be fees applicable for a hospital stay, anaesthetic services (if required). Quotations for these can be arranged. 

Other Specialist Services

Pathology Services

• We use Healthscope Pathology who have a collection centre across the corridor from our practice. At this stage, they bulk bill all patients so there should be no out of pocket expenses for pathology.

Anaesthetic services

• If these are required (if required) may incur an out of pocket expense depending on the anaesthetist on call.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, credit card, Eftpos and cheques for payments. We have facilities on site for online Medicare claiming if you are registered for this which means your Medicare rebate is returned to your nominated bank account automatically.
