Dr. Heng Tang is a Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, operating and consulting at Sunnybank Private Hospital, he is also a staff specialist at the Mater Mother's Hospital.

Dr. Tang obtained his MBBS at the University of Queensland in 1994, and completed his internship at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in 1995. He received his DRANCOG at the Redcliffe Hospital and decided to pursue O&G as a career in 2000. He was trained at Mater Mother's, Redland, Logan and Nambour Hospital and received his FRANZCOG in March 2007.

Dr. Tang has been working as a full time staff specialist at the Logan hospital for 2 years before moving to the Mater Mother's Hospital in January 2009. Heng started his private practice at the Sunnybank Private Hospital in November 2009, sharing the consultation room with Dr. Brad Armstrong.

Dr. Tang has extensive exposure and experience in the management of normal and high risk pregnancy. He believes in a women-centred antenatal and peripartum care with close midwifery collaboration. He also has special interest in minimal invasive, incontinence and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery. He performs total laparoscopic hysterectomy, and used to run the urodynamics clinic at the Logan Hospital. He is also affiliated with the City Fertility Centre and offers consultation for infertility and  IVF service.

As a Senior Clinical Lecturer for the Medical Schools of both Griffith University and the University of Queensland, he makes sure that he is always kept up to date with the latest development in his field. He is also multilingual and can converse in Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka fluently.
